Current Initiatives

The activities and initiatives of the Silverton Community Patrol Association (SCPA) is sparked by the needs and energy from the community it represents. Over the years, several successful and less-successful projects have started and ended, but as a community we always remain eager to tackle new projects.

We are grateful for the following current activities which would not have been possible without the dedicated community members who are driving it:

• Host and maintain a public website to share the existence and activities of the Silverton CPA and CPF
• A local licenced radio network for efficient communication during neighbourhood patrols, emergencies and active incidents.
• CCTV cameras connected with a local area network recording footage at critical high-risk areas.
• Provide a platform, support and schedule to encourage community members to do patrols.
