About Silverton CPA/GPA

The Silverton Community Policing Forum (CPF) and Silverton Community Patrol Association (SCPA) originated in 2009 when concerned residents and members of the Silverton Policy Station engaged in organised community meetings. The SCPA has since been registered as a non-profit company and is guided by a constitution.

The SCPA's annual general meeting takes place around March during which the management team reports on the activities of the past year and new volunteering management members are elected.

The SCPA still works closely with the Silverton Community Policing Forum (CPF) and Silverton Police Station.

The SCPA is financially sustainable thanks to a small annual membership fee, as well as donations and sponsorships from residents and local business.
